• Air Marshal M.K.Anand PVSM, VM (Retd)

      Corporate Adviser of Concept2, Anand put in four decades of meritorious service with Indian Air Force in various capacities and held the top position handling executive, directional and conceptual level functioning of the Indian Air Force. The spectrum of duties involved all aspects of human resource management such as policy formulation, recruitment, training and career progression, remuneration, legal aspects, including discipline and welfare. Also involved in major projects including works management of construction, operation, and maintenance of IAF installations, buildings, roads, and airfields. During his tenure in senior positions, AM Anand was instrumental in creating right living and working environment to facilitate attainment of operational goals of the IAF and also financial management functions including that of Rs.400 crores welfare corpus. On retirement from IAF, AM Anand held various apex positions with multinational corporations.

    • Thomas Mathew

    Executive Vice President of Concept2, Thomas has worked with public and private sector enterprises in the past 15 years. 

    Till 1996 he held various positions in the Corporate Finance Division of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) where he dealt with international financiers like World Bank, large international banks, and also extensively dealt with financial process improvements and management control systems. After which he moved to a private sector power project company to set up a Rs.1500 Crore (US$ 300 Million) power generation facility in Madhya Pradesh. In this assignment, he was in charge of the project financing responsibilities and extensively dealt with international financiers, advisors and law firms.

    In 1997, he moved to Transcontinental Power Systems as General Manager and went on to become the Senior Vice President in 2000. At Transcontinental he dealt with project development, consulting services for international corporations like Unocal and total business development for select Honeywell products. In course of which he had close interaction with several of the Big5 firms in developing country specific business strategies and plans for India and MENA. 

    Thomas joined Concept2 in 2002. He is also part of EnergyBay launched in 2001 having focus on offering clean energy products and services. 

    The various positions held by him with large and small corporations, startup ventures in the last 15 years included big ticket project financing, financial control, procurement systems, computerization, organizational process improvements, and evolving business development strategies for multinational product launch.

    Thomas is a 1988 alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and holds a Masters in Agricultural Sciences.

    • Roshin Thomas

    Mentor of Concept2, Roshin has over 15 years experience in process engineering industry, ranging from fertilizer, petrochemicals, exploration and production, and petroleum refining. Roshin has worked with Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT)-Kerala in engineering design and corporate planning departments. She also worked with Saipem-Triune Projects-New Delhi in various capacities including business development, and project management roles. Roshin is now full time involved in the consulting assignments of Concept2 and EnergyBay.

    Roshin is a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with distinction from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, and MBA from India Gandhi Open University majoring in Financial Management.
